Position Overview



A Project Coordinator at Prolux works inside the office processing customer purchase orders, working closely with the sales and quotations teams to ensure the product purchased meets the lighting design and tender requirements. Coordination involves communicating directly with customers and manufacturers regarding specifications, pricing, production dates, change orders, and onsite delivery details. When issues arise and problems occur the Project Coordinator works with all parties to reach a resolution.

Key Responsibilities



Create and manage project schedules, submittals, and purchase orders Coordinate communication between clients, suppliers, and internal teams Track budgets, change orders, and delivery timelines Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports Identify challenges early and work collaboratively to resolve them

Qualifications & Skills



Experience in the lighting or electrical industry while not essential will be considered an asset Previous project coordination experience is beneficial. Having a can do attitude and the willingness to learn and grow is crucial to the role. Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities Team-oriented and adaptable in a fast-paced office environment Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new software Familiarity with construction documentation and timelines is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
