Position Overview





The

Project Coordinator

plays a key role in supporting and coordinating multiple

building envelope

projects--including glazing, cladding, railings, and other architectural features--through effective organization, communication, and documentation. This role ensures that all aspects of the project, from planning and procurement to installation and closeout, are managed efficiently and in alignment with project goals and timelines.





To be successful in this role, you must have hands-on experience with

project coordination

Responsibilities:






Project Coordination




Plan, schedule, and track project activities from pre-construction to closeout. Coordinate quotes, proposals, and communication among subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and teams. Review drawings for product types and resolve cost, installation, and logistics issues. Maintain schedules and documentation, follow up on RFIs, drawings, and approvals.


Documentation and Reporting




Maintain and organize all construction documentation (contracts, change orders, RFIs, meeting minutes, quotes, samples, etc.). Prepare regular project reports, including progress updates, cost or schedule impacts, and potential delays.


Budget and Cost Management




Assist with budgets and Material Take-Offs (MTOs). Review and verify supplier and subcontractor invoices; manages cost changes and budget updates


Quality Control and Safety




Monitor quialityand safety; coordinate issue resolution with site team.


Communication




Act as a contact point for forstakeholders and ensure clear project communication Address and escalate project-related issues as needed to maintain progress and alignment.


Procurement & Logistics




Request quotes, prepare purchase requests, verify materials and delivery, and liaise with suppliers and partners.

Project Closeout:




Organize closeout documentation and support completion reviews. Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and contractual requirements.

Qualifications




Technical College Diploma or University Degree 3 - 5 years of experience in construction coordination experience.
3 - 5 years of working knowledge of architecural glazing is a must.
3 + years of low/high rise Building Envelope construction is considered an asset. Working knowledge of Building Envelope construction project management and administration. Drivers licence in good standing. Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials as needed. Demonstrated ability to realize competencies as listed. Ability to work on a construction site and at heights as required/needed. Knowledge of construction processes, materials and regulations would be an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, scheduling software such as Wrike /Microsoft Project. AutoCad/AutoDesk Construction Claud and 3D software knowledge is considered an asset. PMP Certification is considered an asset
