Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Project Coordinator and Office and Accounting Assistant
who has experience assisting project managers as well as office administrator duties. This position will be a part of a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist project managers with
monitoring changes to project scopes, and cost reporting
as well as
payroll tasks, and accounts payable and accounts receivable duties.

Responsibilities
Assist project managers in the development and maintenance of in-house project financial controls and schedules -
Project Management
Track and monitor Client Purchase Orders.
Maintain and monitor subcontractor purchase orders.
Monitor changes to project scopes.
Cost reporting to clients
Review and input for project proposals
Ensuring project close-out activities are completed.
Timesheet management - accounting and payroll duties.
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
.
Perform
payroll
tasks on bi-monthly basis.
perform yearend tasks for Accountants.
HR related tasks (RRSP's, benefits, new employee orientation, etc.)
Office Administration
tasks as necessary.
Participate and monitor Safety compliance program.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in post-secondary education, Bachelor of Arts or Education may be useful
Exceptional Microsoft
Excel
skills.
High attention to detai
l.
Practical
experience in bookkeeping
.
Familiarity with
QuickBooks
.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Self-motivated and open to learning and improving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Effective communicator - verbal and written.
