reports directly to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for providing assistance to senior staff in the coordinator, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting and quality control functions.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform the job successfully, this individual must be able to perform each essential duty.
Aid in the preparation and definition of the project scope of work, financial plan, its goal and deliverables as identified in the project summary and control document provided by the Sales Representatives.
Coordinate all aspects of the project business plan and budget
Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
Review the project schedule with our Leadership Team and all other staff that will be affected by this project activities and/or revise the schedule as required
Coordinate project staff involvement to the established policies and practices of Northgate Industries Ltd.
Ensure that all personnel involved in the projects are appropriately orientated to Northgate Industries Ltd. and the project
Ensure all consultants and contractors are qualified and certified to work on the project
Develop forms and records to document project activities
Setup files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
Coordinate with the Director of Operations on the progress of the project and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion
Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff of Northgate Industries Ltd. on the progress of the project
Ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date (invoicing/change notices)
Correlating of the quality assurance documents
Performing the provisional acceptance and final acceptance procedures
Additional duties as required
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to prioritize and meet all assigned timelines
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
3 - 5 year's work experience in an intermediate to senior administrative support capacity
Business Administration Diploma, Project Management Certification, or related certificate is an asset
Extensive data entry experience with a high degree of accuracy
A solid understanding of the accounting billing cycle
Clear understanding of construction terminology will be considered an asset
Previous work in the
Modular Structure industry
, construction, restoration or mechanical industry is a definite asset
Exceptional skills in Microsoft office programs including Word, Outlook and Excel. Certification in Advanced Excel will be considered an asset
Familiar with Great Plains and Microsoft Project
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Typically, work is in an office environment, but the purpose of the project may require visits to non-standard workplaces.
