As a Project Control (Scheduling) Specialist, reporting to the Team Lead Scheduling, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling project scheduling activities for inspection and maintenance, major programs and projects delivered by Project Delivery. In this role you will fully support your Field Services peers in maintaining resource loaded schedules that fully utilize crew resources You will be working directly with Project Delivery leadership to develop/improve processes and optimize internal engineering and project management resources.Major Responsibilities:Duties include creating, maintaining, and analyzing a high-volume of resource -loaded schedules of various sizes and complexity, performing resource leveling and providing detailed resource utilization analysis and forecast.Responsible to work with the Project Managers, Engineers, Field Execution Planners, project control team, and other internal and external stakeholders to develop optimized resource-loaded schedules for various projects to satisfy resource workload, deliverables, time restraints and customer expectation and identify issues affecting project timeline and budget.Develop, maintain, analyze, and communicate schedule commitments, associated changes, resource allocation, forecast, participate in schedule risk assessment and lesson learned to take proactive steps to monitor, control and report on schedule progress metrics in comparison with the baselinePrepare recommendations for remedial action where deviations occur, include trends in the forecast, or develop a mitigation plan or corrective measures to help drive business decisions.Lead team initiatives, collaborating closely with other groups such as Project Delivery Leadership, Cost Control, Estimating and PMO.Coordinate preparation, consolidation, and analysis of scheduling reports.Develop innovative strategies to solve resourcing issues through complex analysis, Interface with key internal project team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in schedule performance tracking and reporting.Chair Scheduling Meetings, presenting changes, provide visibility of upcoming deliverables, identifying impacts and resource demand over/under-allocation.Responsible and work with other specialist for alignment of estimation, planning, cost, and schedule management to realize the variances, monitoring projects KPI and implement earned value management system.Perform forward looking Time Impact Analysis.Supports the project lifecycle through schedule development, monitoring, and controls.Proposes, participates in, and leads improvements to scheduling processes, approaches, and techniques.
