Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Controls Lead with approximately 7-12 years of General Contractor / Contractor experience in Power, Transmission, Oil and Gas and Mining Industries. The successful candidate will oversee project controls functions including scheduling, cost management, forecasting, change management and risk management. This role reports directly to the Senior Project Controls Manager and plays a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of transmission and distribution projects within budget and schedule. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules using Primavera - Monitor project costs, forecasts, progress and performance against baseline- Support the preparation of monthly cost reports, variance analyses, and earned value metrics. - Support project risk management, tracking mitigation actions and trends. - Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to maintain accurate reporting. - Implement project controls best practices aligned with company standards and utility governance frameworks. - Facilitate change management processes, ensuring cost and schedule impacts are documented and approved. - Mentor junior team members in scheduling and cost control disciplines. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. - 10-15 years of progressive project controls experience in major industries - Proficiency in Primavera P6 and cost management tools (e.g., Prism, EcoSys, Excel-based cost tracking). - Strong analytical and communication skills.

- AACE or CIQS certifications are an asset
