What we are looking for:
The Project Associate will interact, collaborate, and assist Project Managers and project team members with hospital projects and Eastern York Region North Durham (EYRND) Ontario Health Team (OHT) initiatives. The Project Associate is responsible for supporting EYRND OHT committee co-chairs by developing meeting materials, aggregate and analyze data, monitor project status, timelines and manage key information. This position will serve as a liaison between various internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate must have experience in project management and business process analytics and be able to work and plan in a complex and ambiguous environment. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with the ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
What you bring to the role:Undergraduate degree in healthcare/business fields required, Master's degree an asset 3-5 years experience managing or coordinating projects or related experience Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) credential an asset Strong working knowledge of relevant project management tools Takes responsibility for specific projects and sub-deliverables by actively executing to project plan, and maintaining quality standards using project methodologies, processes and tools. Analyze data from multiple sources and provide management reporting on results. Coordinate and compile project status reports. Record and track milestones, risks, issues, and major action items. Report on project financials, including budget and actual expenditures. Create/develop presentation material. Support project teams by documenting key decisions. Work with internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify corrective actions needed. Proactively monitor performance trends. Enhance existing processes, reporting, and systems that define, measure, and analyze productivity. Develop and report out on key performance indicator dashboards. Create templates, as required. Maintains clear communication with cross-functional stakeholders regarding mutual expectations, and monitors stakeholder satisfaction. Actively takes advantage of change opportunities and recommends new or revised strategies for project integration. Actively identifies efficiencies for future implementations. Builds business relationships beyond the project environment. Perform ad hoc analyses and develop reports/dashboards. Aid in the implementation of processes supporting hospital-wide project and portfolio management standards. Demonstrated good attendance record with the ability to maintain this same standard Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required.
