Job Overview


As our Project Assistant, you'll be the operational backbone supporting our project managers in delivering exceptional construction and architecture projects across Halifax's dynamic landscape.

Responsibilities



Project Leadership Support - Partner with project managers on strategic initiatives and daily operations Maintain comprehensive project records Stakeholder Engagement - Participate in construction site meetings and coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers Process Innovation - Help implement our new DREEVEN work platform and optimize project workflows Mentorship & Growth - Train new team members and contribute to our collaborative culture Quality Assurance - Ensure all project documentation meets industry standards and compliance requirements Photographic documentation from the scaffolding Occasionally pick up orders from suppliers

Experience



Education: Post-secondary diploma in architecture, construction, estimation, or civil engineering (preferred) Experience: 1+ years in construction/project coordination Technical Skills: Proficiency reading architectural plans, specifications, and drawings Software Mastery: Advanced Excel and Outlook skills Safety Credentials: CSTS (Construction Safety Training System) and WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) can be an asset. Communication: Excellent English language skills (oral and written)

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
