Project and Event Assistant - Limited TermTracking Code: req1128Faculty/Department: Office of VP, Research and InnovationNumber of Positions: 1Appointment Type: Limited Term, 3 monthsHours of Work: Under 24 hoursHourly Rate: $17.50/h.Posting Date: May 31, 2024Closing Date: June 6, 2024Job Summary:The successful candidate will support in the tasks related to the university\'s core facilities and the workplan of the university as an International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Collaborating Centre.Nature of work:Reporting to the director, core facilities and strategic initiatives, this position will support in the design and delivery of different activities, programs, initiatives, workshops, events and services. This position will work with other to ensure that all operational needs are met, and to ensure that activities are being delivered efficiently and effectively. The project and event assistant position will contribute to other special projects as required.Responsibilities/accountabilities:This position is required to:

  • Working with team members and external partners toward the university goals as an IAEA Collaborating Centre,
  • Attend training sessions and stakeholder meetings,
  • Develop charts, figures, diagrams, infographics and data analytics,
  • Develop content and update university content management systems.
