Sanofi Canada operations focus on four therapeutic areas: General Medicines (diabetes, cardiovascular, arthritis, transplant, and thyroid cancer); Specialty Care (rare diseases, rare blood disorders, oncology, immunology, multiple sclerosis); Vaccines (manufactures, formulates, fills, inspects and/or packages vaccines and biologics, protecting against 20 infectious diseases including pertussis, diphtheria, tetanus and influenza); and Consumer Healthcare (pain care, allergy, digestive health, personal care).

Position Summary:

The Submissions and Pricing Specialist works closely with the Market Access Leads to manage, coordinate and collate HTA (CADTH, INESSS) and private payers submissions with the goal of gaining reimbursement of Sanofi products. The incumbent will work alongside cross functional team members and is responsible for managing and Pricing & Reimbursement submission process and as well as the management of all steps of the various third party contractual agreements (from initial agency/supplier briefing to delivery of finish material/service).

Key Responsibilities:

Aware of existing and changing HTA requirements to work with MA Leads as well as third party vendors in compiling timely HTA submissions for Sanofi products according to CADTH and INESSS submission guidelines.

Review and coordinate approvals of product listing agreements (new agreements, amending agreements, pCPA). Initial review is conducted by the Submissions and Pricing Specialist (terms and conditions, pricing information, rebate formula based on letter of intent, etc.) to ensure consistency of the terms and identify any potential changes to relevant cross-functional members for either acceptance or further edits to the contract terms.

Ensure submission, review and approvals of contracts for MA/PA team in order to obtain timely listing and price implementation of Sanofi products.

Review terms and conditions of government and private payor product listing agreements to ensure alignment with master agreement and work with cross functional team (Legal, Finance, MA/PA, Commercial) to consolidate feedback in order to obtain and internal approval of product listing agreements.

Undertake pricing analysis across Canadian jurisdictions with an understanding of various provincial pricing policy process to ensure accurate price submissions in-line with provincial policies and timelines.

Ownership of various price tracking and approval systems to prepare local pricing requests through LAPS and keep the system updated to ensure compliance and audit controls are in place.

Support the Pricing Compliance Lead in preparing the APVs (Global Approval Requests in GPS), i.e. price increase/decrease, new product launch, line extension, etc.

Responsible for communication of product price changes and close follow-ups with other departments (pricing compliance, communications to public and private payers, complete provincial requests for quotation, etc.) in order for coordinated implementation across the organization.

Work alongside MA/PA team members for any required communications with provincial drug plan managers and private payers for changes related to Sanofi products such as potential drug shortages, price changes, product monograph changes.

Ensures project management to secure quality of projects and submissions, meeting of critical delivery dates, and within budget.

Key Requirements:

College Diploma.

Successful 5 years as Project Administrator.

Experience in Market Access, Public Affairs will be highly desirable.

Knowledge of submission requirements for both public and private payers.

Knowledge of provincial pricing policies.

Knowledge of contracting and compliance processes.

Excellent computer skills, Electronic mail/agenda.

GPS (APV database), LAPS, IQVIA market access databases).

Fluently bilingual (written/spoken) English & French and excellent grammar in both languages.

Team player.

Self-driven.

Learn on the fly.

Strong organizational skills.

Ability to prioritize.

Ability to deal with tight timelines of several concurrent projects.

Effective communication skills.

Attention to detail.

Require minimum supervision.
