Job Description

Peter Lucas Project Management invests in people, community, and cutting-edge technology to provide gold standard project delivery. We are currently looking for a Project Admin to join our team.


Supporting Project Managers on site, the project administrator works collaboratively with other teams, in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. To be successful, the candidate needs to have strong communication skills, be self-motivated and detailed oriented.

Duties and Responsibilities:

File documents, conduct employee onboarding, orientation and paperwork. Assist with organizing on site events such as lunch and learns. Taking meeting minutes, drafting memos/presentations and distributing as necessary. Aid with the development and maintenance of project management documents. Work with suppliers on quotes, project costs, delivery and forecasted spending. Support Project Managers with the procurement of materials, supplies and services as necessary Assist Project Managers with their schedule, coordinate team meetings and schedules. Organize and prepare for internal and external meetings, gathering materials required Utilize Excel for a variety of project tracking and documentation Support month-end procedures
The ideal candidate would be expected to work Monday to Thursday, 10-hour days on site, commutable distance from Saskatoon.

Requirements

Self-starter, able to learn and apply new concepts, and use software and of tools quickly and independently. Solid interpersonal communication skills. Previous experience in an industrial setting is an asset. Experience with Ms Suites (Excel, word, PowerPoint) Attention to detail and ability to prioritize work. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-volume environment. Previous experience in construction, engineering or project management work environments is an asset.
