Job Title: Project Accounting Advisor IV
Location: Calgary, AB
Position Type: On-site Hybrid (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday in office)
Our client is seeking a Project Accounting Advisor IV to join their team. As a Project Accounting Advisor IV, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting project control and financial management teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
:

  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure accurate tracking and timely reporting of all project expenses.
  • Collect, verify, and analyze financial records, prepare cost estimates, and review timesheets.
  • Assist in creating, updating, and closing project budgets and structures within company systems such as Oracle, Copperleaf, and EPPRT.
  • Support procurement processes including purchase requests, invoice coding, and vendor coordination.
  • Review monthly cost and cash flow forecasts with project teams to maintain financial transparency and control.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in cost management and project controls across multiple projects.
  • Experience in industries such as Oil & Gas, IT, Petrochemical, Industrial, or Power is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Project Controls principles and practical application.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems for managing project data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
