Job Description

Kantrax Contractors is a family-operated heavy construction company specializing in road building. Since 1992, we've served the community of Edmonton and the greater area.

We are currently hiring a full time Project Accounting Administrator in Leduc. This opportunity is ideal for a self-motivated and skilled professional looking for a flexible schedule and long-term employment. The position requires a commitment of about 25-35 hours per week, but can be full-time for the right person.

The ideal candidate will have experience in full-cycle project accounting such as:

Accounts Receivable, collections, and holdback tracking;

Accounts Payable;

Bank Reconciliations and GST;

Accounting Year-End;

Payroll for 30-50+ employees;

Supporting Project Management tracking project billables and contracts; Including the use of programs such as Textura and Compass.

Filing WCB Annual Returns;

General office duties and special projects, such as LMIA, resume tracking and recruitment.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 Years general accounting experience;

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word);

Strong organization skills;

Strong oral and written communication skills;

Independently motivated and able to prioritize multiple deadlines.

Sage 50 or QuickBooks experience an asset, but will train the right person;

Diploma in accounting or related field an asset.
