Position Overview:Our client, a reputable Real Estate Developer is seeking a detail-oriented professional to oversee financial management and reporting for a portfolio of real estate development projects. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes while supporting strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities

• Monitor project financials, providing recommendations on funding strategies, distributions, and financing options.
• Review and authorize payments, invoices, journal entries, remittances, and lot sale transactions.
• Analyze trial balances and cost reports on a monthly basis.
• Maintain tracking schedules for reporting and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with financial analysts to assess proforma budgets, cash flow forecasts, and budget variances.
• Prepare bank reporting packages and generate financing draw requests.
• Interpret legal agreements related to joint ventures and fee structures to assess financial impact.
• Assist with year-end financial statements, working papers, and interim reporting for select projects.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to documenting financial procedures.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform additional tasks and projects as needed.

• Education in Finance, Accounting or related Field
• Pursuing an accounting designation is an asset
• Minimum 3 years of experience ideally in the Real state or Construction industries
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Capacity to manage workload fluctuations, including occasional overtime.
