Job Description

We are looking for our client, a construction company located in the West Island of Montreal, a project accountant to join their team.
As a Project Accountant, you will be an essential member of the smooth running of a project and you will provide support to project teams for the entire administrative function of the life cycle of a project. You will be in charge of the project documentation in the broad sense and the complete project invoicing cycle.

Your work with us:

• Responsible for the accounting cycle of construction projects;
• Produce invoicing & project budget monitoring via Oracle\'s Textura system
• Liaise with the accounting department regarding invoicing based on contracts and invoices;
• Prepare invoicing files
• Preparation of contracts, purchase orders and change orders;
• Carry out project follow-ups (preparation of subcontractors\' contracts and contracts between the general contractor and the owner/developer, etc.);
• Perform various administrative tasks (opening files, taking calls, calendar management, filing, photocopies, faxes and scans, etc.);
• All other related tasks according to the needs of the company and requests from the immediate superior.

Required profile

• Holder of a DEP, DES or DEC in accounting, secretarial, office automation, or any other related field;
• Mastery of the French language both orally and in writing;
• Have the facility to learn the use of new software and navigate easily among them
• Has an advanced analytical mind
• Able to work with tight deadlines and prioritize effectively;
• Advanced work organization and ability to rigorously follow up with different people
• Attention to detail and the quality of work rendered;
• Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel & Outlook).
