WHAT TO EXPECT

Under the supervision of the IT department manager, your main mandate will be the development (60%) and the level II and III support (40%) of software solutions. More specifically, assisted by the application analyst and other programmer-analysts, you will collaborate in the analysis, design and maintenance of software tools related to business processes. You will develop solutions and participate in large-scale IT projects related to the organization\'s digital transformation at both the administrative and manufacturing levels. Immersed in an environment where industry 4.0, manufacturing connectivity, systems integration and data intelligence are priorities, you will join multidisciplinary teams in order to propel the organization\'s digital strategy.Come be part of a close-knit team that is not afraid of challenges and aspires to take the company to another level on the IT side.

Here\'s an overview of your tasks:

• In collaboration with the application analyst and other developers, participate in the analysis and development of IT solutions in Visual Studio.Net and SQL Server
• Develop cloud solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerAutomate) and SSRS/SSIS
• Develop and support internal applications
• Provide level II and III application support to users
• Support the implementation of the organization\'s digital strategy and act as a driver for change
• Ensure technology watch and be an ambassador for cybersecurity
• Integrate third party administrative/manufacturing software into the application ecosystem
• Develop and integrate Sharepoint, Teams and the O365 suite
• Document issues/solutions, systems and installations under his/her responsibility
• As needed, perform any other related duties

WHAT WE\xe2\x80\x99RE LOOKING FOR

• DEC/BAC in computer science (programming option)
• 3 to 5 years of experience in computer development
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Mastery of application development in Microsoft Visual Studio.Net (.Net Core, C#, React, Entity Framework, ASP.Net)
• Mastery of MVC, MVVM, WPF, HTML, JavaScript, CSS / Bootstrap, AngularJS, etc...
• Mastery of T-SQL programming and stored procedures
• Knowledge of an integrated management software such as ERP (Asset)
• Knowledge of DevExpress tools (Asset)
• Ability to solve complex problems and initiative
• Ability and interest in implementing and documenting processes
• Leadership skills, good team spirit and ability to adapt to change
• Demonstrate a strong initiative to promote best practices and technology watch
• Ability to manage stress and priorities
• Be available on call, in rotation with other team members, to respond to IT emergencies outside of normal working hours
• Possess a valid driver\'s license in order to travel on site during on-call calls when necessary
• Functional English (3/5)
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (Asset)
