You will be responsible for assisting with the development, coordination, administration and support for services and systems utilized by the Business Registration Unit, Provincial Contact Centre, and Access Nova Scotia Offices. You will be accountable for ensuring quality assurance processes are adhered to. You will work with and provide support to Citizen Services teams, Program Owners and key stakeholders by adhering to established support models, reviewing and suggesting revisions to current support processes and providing recommendations for the development of effective and efficient processes to support service delivery.Primary Accountabilities

  • Responsible for user access controls, developing processes to support on boarding and off boarding of team members.
  • Inventory management of serial and non serial inventory utilizing STOR best practices
  • Supporting Quality assurance reviews of all programs.
  • Assisting analysts in improving programs processes to support effective program delivery, program launches, new program implementation and system replacements.
  • Working with team members to support program enhancements requested by program areas, legislative changes and audit recommendations.
  • Managing your time and work priorities while reaching targeted service objectives.
  • Providing technical guidance when required, analyzing data from various sources to draw appropriate conclusions and the ability to make suitable recommendations. This will include user acceptance testing, development and monitoring of reports.
  • Drafting communications, assisting in the development of training and delivering training, presenting at meetings, leading workshops, and performing other related duties as required.
Qualifications and ExperienceTo be successful in this position, you hold a minimum of a bachelor\'s degree, in addition to 1 year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. You are a team player who demonstrates initiative, exercises good judgment, has above average organizational skills, and the ability to work with diverse groups. In addition to this, you must be proficient with Microsoft Office 365 including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, possess excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written). You must demonstrate the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders in a manner that strengthens and builds collaborative relationships.You also possess:
  • Experience working in a project environment and assisting in implementing new initiatives.
  • Effective facilitation skills and have experience delivering training or information sessions.
  • The ability to effectively manage and prioritize high volume work.
  • Knowledge of programs along with respective legislation, policies and procedures, delivered by the Business Registration Unit.
The following would be considered an asset:
  • You have a working knowledge of the service platforms utilized by the Business Registration Unit, i.e., AMANDA (Nova Scotia Business Registry), NSIFTA (International Fuel Tax), RegSys (Registry of Joint Stock Companies), SMP (Special Move Permit system), etc.
