Key Assets Newfoundland and Labrador (KANL) provides family-based and residential care along with a wide variety of programming and other services to support children, youth and families. Working in partnership with statutory bodies, KANL strives to develop creative and innovative programs for the provision of unique and supportive services, tailored to meet the needs of children, youth, and families, and designed to work towards improving outcomes. KANL is currently recruiting in Hopedale and Nain, NL for the position of: Program Supervisor Permanent Full Time Position At Key Assets, the Program Supervisor provides comprehensive and flexible support and supervision to front-line Child and Youth Care Workers in specialized living arrangements for young people with complex needs. The Program Supervisor will oversee the development and implementation of the therapeutic program, provide leadership and supervision to the Child and Youth Care team, liaise with other agencies and professionals, and maintain regular contact with senior management. As well, the Program Supervisor will work to actively encourage and develop each child\xe2\x80\x99s social, physical, intellectual, cultural, emotional, and religious needs or/and any special needs they may have, and assume other duties and responsibilities as required. Education & Experience: To be successful in this role, the candidate is required to have: \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree/Diploma in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or a related discipline \xe2\x80\xa2 A minimum of 3 to 5 years working with young people/adults with emotional/behavioral difficulties and/or developmental disabilities in residential care or foster care \xe2\x80\xa2 A minimum of one year of supervisory experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience working with young people who have experienced trauma and/or who demonstrate aggressive behavior will be considered an asset Additional Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Clear Certificate of Conduct and Vulnerable Sector Check from RNC/RCMP \xe2\x80\xa2 Child Protection Clearance Check granting clearance \xe2\x80\xa2 Valid Newfoundland Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License \xe2\x80\xa2 Drivers Abstract \xe2\x80\xa2 Current and valid Standard First Aid/CPR certification \xe2\x80\xa2 Valid Proof of Canadian Residency \xe2\x80\xa2 Access to a personal vehicle and $2 Million Business Liability is considered an asset Key Assets Newfoundland and Labrador offers: \xe2\x80\xa2 Competitive salary commensurate with education and experience ($66,092 to $82,363) plus a Labrador living allowance \xe2\x80\xa2 Group Health Benefits enrollment (medical, dental, etc.) and competitive RRSP contribution matching up to 5% of employee contribution \xe2\x80\xa2 Annual leave entitlement of 20 days per year (4 weeks) \xe2\x80\xa2 Sick leave entitlement of 7 days per year \xe2\x80\xa2 Learning and development, training, and certification opportunities \xe2\x80\xa2 Flexible work environment HOW TO APPLY: Please send your resume by email to the Human Resources Manager at recruitment@keyassetsnl.ca.
