Our Parks and Environment Department is seeking a Program Manager, Parks Engineering & Asset Management who will manage the Regional Parks engineering and asset management program, provide strategic leadership and engineering expertise to ensure the long term resilience of the built asset portfolio of trails, roads, bridges, buildings, and other amenities.
You are: an excellent communicator, talented leader and registered engineer with extensive experience in the construction and maintenance of public amenities and asset management. You value regional parks and the many health, ecological, and social benefits they provide a growing region.
You thrive in a fast paced environment, taking on big challenges, advancing continuous improvement initiatives and new systems. You have the ability to work and think at the site to regional scale and immediate to generational timeframe. As the senior regional parks engineer you are a trusted advisor to management, professional and operations staff from across the organization.
The Program Manager, Parks Engineering & Asset Management reports to the Division Manager, Parks Design and Development and falls within our Management/Leadership Level 3B job family.
