Global Financial Firm located in Mississauga, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Program Manager
"This role is currently on a Hybrid Schedule.
You will need to have reliable internet, computer and android or iphone for remote access into the client systems during remote work.
We will be expected in the office weekly 3 days depending on the team requirement.

Job Title: Program Manager
Role Description
The role will be part of a central Program Management Team charged with ensuring the timely execution of deliverables for the Stanardized approach (SA) FRTB project. The candidate must be an individual experienced in project management and with sufficient subject matter expertise in Markets products and business lines to be able to provide meaningful solutions that are functional and sustainable.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Project management / Transformation / Change management experience with a focus on Capital Markets initiatives to address regulatory, risk management or audit issues
  • Utilizing working knowledge of Markets business and products, including regulatory capital
  • Influencing and building collaborative relationships across Global Markets stakeholders, including business, controls, finance, operations, technology, and risk management
  • Managing internal and external dependencies across initiatives, working closely with Front Office, Markets Controls, Risk Managers and Technology teams
  • Identify challenges and proactively seek to resolve or escalate risk and issues in a timely and well-articulated manner by engaging relevant stakeholders and PMs
  • Producing accurate and insightful project update materials tailored to various forums and committees
  • Building strong relationships to support the execution of programs through a joined-up approach
Key Skills Required
  • Experience with FRTB and/or other material front office-driven regulatory initiatives
  • Experience with Market Risk (or Credit Risk) regulatory initiatives
  • Strong and proven track record in strategic project management and delivering complex solutions
  • Significant experience in scoping, developing, and prioritizing plans for strategic initiatives
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; articulate and persuasive with sound judgment
  • Solid understanding of mechanisms to track and communicate performance
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem-solving capability
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience
Key Skills Preferred
  • Experience in Markets, Risk, and Regulatory-related projects/programs.
  • Experience in working with Technology and Risk Control functions.
  • Bachelor's/University degree in relevant fields.
  • Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) or equivalent.
  • Experience with JIRA and Agile tech framework.
  • Experience analyzing large datasets using SQL and Excel.
