About the Role

The Program Manager reports to the Director of Child, Youth, and Family Services and is responsible for the leadership and oversight of the 611 Youth Living Resource for children and youth, delivered in alignment with MCFD's Specialized Homes and Support Services (SHSS) model. This role ensures the delivery of trauma-informed, inclusive, and high-quality services while supervising a Program Coordinator and guiding frontline teams.



Key Responsibilities Include:



Provide leadership in program planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement Ensure compliance with MCFD standards, accreditation requirements, and agency policies Supervise and support the Program Coordinator and oversee staffing, scheduling, and training Lead hiring, onboarding, and performance management in collaboration with HR Manage non-routine program expenditures, facility resources, and financial documentation Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to funder reporting Represent ICS in external meetings and build strong relationships with families, funders, and community partners Participate in the on-call rotation and provide after-hours emergency leadership as needed Provide temporary operational coverage for the Program Coordinator when required

Who You Are

You are a confident, relational leader with experience supporting youth and managing teams in residential or community settings. You bring a strong understanding of trauma-informed practice, regulatory standards, and collaborative leadership. You are proactive, values-driven, and committed to building inclusive, youth-centered programs that make a lasting impact.



Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in a human or social services field Minimum 3 years' experience supporting children and youth with complex need Minimum 2 years in a leadership role within a community organization An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered

Job Requirements:



Class 5 Driver's License with safe driving record Access to own vehicle with business use and $5M liability insurance (reimbursement available) Completion of job required training Ability to participate in after-hours on-call rotation and provide crisis support Willingness to undergo an extensive background and criminal record check by the MCFD Hub
