Description:

Addiction and Mental Health is seeking an innovative, passionate leader to join the Children, Youth & Families (CYF) portfolio in the Edmonton Zone as a Program Manager of the Community Addiction and Mental Health Services (CAMHS) portfolio. Reporting to the Director of CYF, the Program Manager provides administrative and clinical oversight and leadership to the CAMHS portfolio in the Edmonton Zone. The Program Manager provides inspiring and accountable leadership to the portfolio Care Managers and Clinical Supervisors and works closely with psychiatrists and other CYF leaders. The role develops and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external partners to ensure high quality clinical services that best meet the needs of clients, families, teams, AHS, and other stakeholders. Within the role, you will lead incremental and transformational change projects through a continuous quality improvement framework using Prosci ADKAR change management principles. The role is primarily responsible for all aspects of workforce management, including recruitment, coaching and mentoring, and employee relations. Developing and maintaining a strong leadership structure within the CAMHS portfolio will be a key component to success. The role is also responsible for managing an operational budget in a fiscally responsible manner, seeking innovative opportunities to improve and enhance services with finite resources. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the CYF continuum of services with a demonstrated ability to engage other leaders and services in system transformation. Additional responsibilities may include leading cross-functional working groups and steering committees aimed at improving AMH business outcomes through a focus on people, processes, and technology.

Required Qualifications:

A Masters Degree in psychology, occupational therapy, social work or nursing as well as registration in the applicable professional regulatory body. 5 years experience in a clinical leadership role, including supervising other leaders. 2 years of direct experience providing clinical services to clients/patients within a healthcare setting. Experience working with stakeholders and community partners. Experience leading effective change management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prosci certification. Experience in program evaluation. Demonstrated ability to engage and work with community partners and stakeholders.
