About RCHC & Think 2wice (T2)
Rexdale Community Health Centre (RCHC) is a multi-service organization providing primary care, health promotion, and community programs. In partnership with T2, we deliver TO Wards Peace (TWP)--a public-health, community-centred approach that interrupts and prevents violence through outreach, hospital and social-media interventions, and deep community partnership.
About the Role
The T2 Program Lead will oversee two major initiatives:
TO Wards Peace (TWP) - a public health approach to interrupting and preventing community violence through community-based, hospital-linked, and social media interventions.
Kings to Kings / Kweens to Kweens (K2K) - a prevention, intervention, and reintegration program addressing gun culture, incarceration, grief, and trauma through arts, mentorship, training, and support.
The Program Lead is responsible for operationalizing these programs, supervising and supporting staff, managing partnerships, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and driving community engagement.
We are seeking a dynamic leader committed to community change, with the ability to manage complex projects in high-pressure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Leadership & Development
? Supervise and mentor a diverse team including Violence Disrupter Workers, Navigators, Critical Intervention Workers, Outreach staff, and volunteers.
? Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
? Foster a positive, inclusive team culture and support staff well-being.
? Provide guidance, case consultation, and professional development opportunities.
Program Oversight & Implementation
? Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of TWP and K2K initiatives.
? Ensure programs integrate trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and evidence-based approaches.
? Oversee participant intake, case management, and referrals.
? Identify service gaps and develop responsive strategies.
? Manage risk and safety planning for staff and participants.
Community & Stakeholder Engagement
? Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, partner agencies, schools, correctional institutions, and city stakeholders.
? Represent T2 at city meetings, advisory tables, and community events.
? Advocate for community needs and ensure the voices of lived experience are included in decision-making.
Partnership & Event Coordination
? Collaborate on outreach events, workshops, sports programs, grief/trauma support, and Black Justice Strategy initiatives.
? Coordinate presentations, training sessions, and engagement activities for various audiences.
Data, Evaluation & Reporting
? Track program outcomes, attendance, and outreach activities.
? Prepare regular reports for leadership, funders, and stakeholders.
? Contribute to program evaluation and continuous improvement.
Funding & Resource Development
? Support grant writing, fundraising, and partnership development.
? Identify and pursue new funding opportunities to sustain and grow programming.
Qualifications and Experience:
? Degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
? Minimum 5 years' experience in program leadership, preferably in violence prevention, intervention, or reintegration.
? Strong understanding of gang dynamics, community trauma, and systemic barriers.
? Familiarity with Rexdale and similar urban communities.
? Knowledge of trauma-informed, anti-oppressive practices.
? Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
? Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
Salary Range:
67,486.00 Annually (Benefits included)
Hours per week:
35 hours per week, - includes some evenings and weekends

1 year, with the possibility of extension
