Are you passionate about turning data into insight and insight into action? We're looking for a dynamic professional to help build organizational capacity in evidence-based decision making, performance measurement, and evaluative practice.
As part of our team, you'll provide expert consulting and advisory support to ministry program areas and sector partners--helping shape citizen-centered services through performance measurement, evaluation frameworks, client journey mapping, user research, and process improvement.
About the job

Support evaluation and performance measurement projects across health and safety, employment standards, and labour relations.
Develop tools and techniques to measure outcomes and build user capacity in measurement and evaluation principles.
Create and test models and prototypes used for evaluation and performance measurement to drive continuous improvement.
Provide technical consultation and stakeholder engagement to support strategic measurement and evaluation initiatives.

Evaluation & Performance Measurement Skills
You can use:
knowledge of logic models, evaluation questions and techniques, indicator and framework development, user experience research, client journey mapping, and process improvement.
knowledge of performance management frameworks and strategies, related methods and techniques to support evidence-based decision-making principles.
interpretation skills and apply relevant legislation (e.g., Occupational Health and Safety Act, Employment Standards Act).

You can:
uncover insights within data, assess risks, and drive continuous improvement.
conduct literature reviews and jurisdictional/environmental scans, design data collection tools, clean data and perform qualitative and quantitative analysis.

oral and written communication and presentation skills to present complex material, exchange information and prepare draft reports, explanatory notes and correspondence for senior management.

the ability to present complex ideas in various formats (e.g., slide decks, presentations, written reports), listen critically and elicit feedback from stakeholders, and work with tools like MS Office, Power BI, SPSS, and NVivo to collect and analyze performance measurement and evaluation data.
