Future Ready Minds designs and delivers future focused programs for children ages 6-12. Our programs blend neuroscience, positive psychology, motivational techniques and play based learning to develop innovation, creativity, collaboration, resilience and confidence to help youth kids thrive in our ever-changing world. We partner with Universities ( UBC, SFU), schools (independent and public), and community centres to deliver high quality full day camps, workshops, and ongoing programs.
The Role
The Program Director role is a hands-on role that oversees the full life -cycle of Future Ready Minds programs, from building strategic community partnerships, enrolment forecasting and instructor recruitment, training and readiness to curriculum updates, parent/youth experience, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. This role owns program performance outcomes and works closely with leadership, instructors, operations, and marketing to ensure programs scale sustainably without compromising quality.

Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership and Operations
Own end to end planning and delivery of all programs, camps, and ongoing offerings
Ensure programs launch and operate with consistent quality and execution
Coordinate enrolment capacity, wait-lists, and completion rates.
Improve operational systems to reduce friction and administrative load
Establish clear program standards and schedules
Enrolment and Participation Growth
Track enrolment trends by program and season
Increase enrolment growth and repeat family participation
Lead marketing for enrolment conversion strategies
Use wait-list and CRM data to inform new program launches and expansion
Quality and Experience
Maintain high parent satisfaction, instructor satisfaction, and net promoter scores
Review post program feedback and implement improvements quickly
Ensure instructors are supported, trained, and confident in delivery
Create a consistent, premium parent/partner experience
Marketing, Growth, and Engagement
Lead marketing for program positioning, messaging, and launch timelines
Support lead generation efforts through community outreach, partnerships, and referrals
Analyze referral performance and repeat enrolment behaviour
Contribute and coordinate with Dr. Kang admin support for collaborative work, ie, speaking engagements and program partnerships
Financial and Performance Management
Own program level financial performance including revenue, margins, and utilization
Balance staffing, pricing, and scheduling for financial sustainability
Work with financial controller to create performas and budgets for each financial year
People Leadership and HR
Lead, evaluate, and retain instructors and program staff
Support hiring, on boarding, training, and performance reviews
Maintain strong instructor reliability, attendance, and engagement
Contribute to a positive, growth oriented team culture
Innovation and Product Development
Launch new programs and pilot offerings
Oversee curriculum updates and improvements
Evaluate pilot success and guide full scale launches
Support digital tools and experiential learning enhancements
Success Metrics for This Role
Success in this role will be measured by clear KPIs, including but not limited to:
Enrolment growth, repeat families, and partnership expansion
Parent, youth and instructor satisfaction scores
Revenue, margins, and cash flow per program
Staff retention, training, and performance ratings
Successful launch of new programs and partnerships
Qualifications
Preferred 2+ years experience in education, program management, operations, or learning experience leadership
Experience scaling programs, camps, or educational services
Strong operational mindset with excellent organizational skills
Proven people leader who builds trust and accountability
Excellent communication skills with parents, youth, instructors, and partners.
Passion for education, child development, 21st century skills, social-emotional cognitive learning and innovation
Valid Class 5 Drivers License and a vehicle to support with operations and site visits
Bonus Experience
Experience working with schools or education partners
Background in enrichment programs, camps, or curriculum based offerings
Familiarity with marketing funnels, lead conversion, and referrals
Experience building programs from pilot to scale
