Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced

Program Director

for our newest childcare centre in Clairmont, AB. The Program Director will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with the

Alberta

Child Care Licensing Regulations

, and lead a team of educators in delivering exceptional early learning programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with all provincial regulations, licensing requirements, and Alberta Health & Safety standards. Supervise, mentor, and support educators and staff. Oversee curriculum planning, program implementation, and continuous improvement. Foster an inclusive, safe, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff. Maintain strong communication and relationships with families, community partners, and regulatory bodies. Manage centre operations, budgets, invoicing and documentation requirements. Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of staff.

Qualifications:

Must be a

level 3

Registered Early Childhood Educator Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in licensed childcare. Experience with all age groups 0-12 years of age Strong knowledge of

Alberta Licensing Regulations

and Flight Framework. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate with families, staff, and community stakeholders. Current First Aid/CPR certification and clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check.

Ability to commute/relocate:

Clairmont, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:

leadership experience in licensed childcare: 2 years (preferred)
