Summary



Working as part of the management team, you will supervise frontline program staff, develop program components and participate in program delivery for the Bridging the Gap: Pathways to Early Childhood Education Careers for Internationally Trained Professionals. Under the direction of the Program Manager, you will oversee the quality and delivery of services, preparing reports, supervising staff, maintaining required documentation, ensuring the team is meeting all program requirements as per the Polycultural's set goals and targets, and always represent Polycultural in a professional manner.

Responsibilities



Coordinate program delivery by preparing and monitoring the implementation of activity and outreach plans Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful program execution. Collect and analyze data to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Lead and supervise program staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Develop program curriculum and materials to support internationally trained professionals in meeting Ontario's requirements for ECE licensure. Recruit employers to provide employment placements for program graduates Assist in recruiting volunteers and staff to enhance program offerings. Monitor program outcomes, including graduation rates and participants' employment in both regulated and non-regulated occupations in the field Attend and contribute to network meetings with government departments, community organizations, and other service providers Coordinate with community partners by leveraging existing relationships and establishing new connections to respond effectively to the needs of refugees Contribute to the development of organizational frameworks focused on standardizing program outcomes, delivering high-quality outputs, and researching immigration trends and service gaps Engage with community partners to promote programs and foster collaboration. Assist with preparing funding proposals as directed by the Program Manager Other duties as assigned

Requirements



Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Management, Psychology, Adult Education, Counselling, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience At least three years of experience in the supervision of staff Strong knowledge of ECE/ECA licensing process for internationally trained professions ECE license and a certificate in project management or PMP designation would be strong asset Proven experience in project management within a non-profit or community service setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, including public speaking capabilities. Experience in data collection and analysis is an asset. Ability to work independently and on a flexible schedule Familiarity with immigrant services or community outreach is preferred.
