General Summary
Provide Latecoere's customers with world class customer service. Perform order entry, basic sales and planning tasks related to your customer portfolios. Use your strong communication skills and product knowledge to develop strong relationships with customers. Provide customers with detailed information for products and services requested. Represent the voice of key customers within Latecoere. Support Production Controller by monitoring our customers' capacity and turn time needs with relation to our capacity limits. Support Business Development group in sales and production forecasting exercises. This position requires a strong ability to develop new customer relationships of trust and respect while maintaining excellent functional relationships with our existing customers.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain and update contract pricing module
Ensure terms of customer purchase orders are correct and conform to the contract
Establishes and maintains administration duties for new customers
Generate sales orders in ERP system
Process orders and inquiries from customers and provide information regarding price, specifications and delivery.
Work on RFQ's and AOG requests to ensure customer satisfaction
Maintains close contact with customers providing timely status updates.
Basic planning of flow-time with Production Control to support as backup
Review and follow-up of internal Work In-Process (WIP) status for your portfolio of customers.
Prepare Canadian Export Declarations and shipping documents
Responsible for customer invoicing and final project close out
Delivery of all shipping documents to the various shipping locations within the facility
Determine special charges and pricing for customer orders that violate contract terms
Monitor progress of customer purchase orders with the internal stakeholders procurement, production control, material handlers, shipping & receiving
Liaises with shop floor to ensure on time processing of shipments
Work with Accounting and Finance to monitor and co-ordinate payment of program invoices, expenses and rectify any invoice discrepancies
Pull together all information as requested by Auditors (review with Finance and Audit Team)
Present Audit reviews
Work alongside Program Managers on customer audits and reviews (PRR, PRA and PMR)
Monitor customer min/max systems to ensure sales forecasts are correct, meet with production control to work through adjustments as necessary
Provides ongoing, frequent, clear and concise reports, such as EDI rejection report, shipping report, LOB and open sales order reports to program staff and leadership on progress updates, issues, challenges, and opportunities
Work with operations to determine weekly priorities for production and shipments
Coordinate truck requirements for customer deliveries
Responsible for general administrative duties
Qualifications and Experience
A. Academic Qualifications
Successful completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
University Degree or College Diploma preferred
B. Training
Strong knowledge of all products and / or services
Order entry functions within ERP system pertaining to CSR role
Basic Production Controller understating within ERP system
Product and/or Repair pricing methodology and quote generation
C. Experience
Experience in a B2B customer facing role is preferred
Airline / Aerospace experience is considered an asset
Customer Service background in manufacturing is preferred
Previous experience with ERP systems considered an asset
D. Skills
A "self starter"
Excellent computer skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Exemplary communications skills, both oral and written.
Must be fluent in speaking (reading, writing and understanding) English and have the ability to effectively communicate with customers where English may not be their first language
Must have the ability to maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with stressful circumstances and difficult customers and situations.
Must be vaccinated against Covid-19
Ability to undergo security clearance process for CGD, ITAR
