Community Outreach is recruiting for a
Temporary Full-Time Program Coordinator
to join our team in Milverton. In this role, your focus will be to market, implement, and oversee programs and initiatives for our community. Reporting to the Community Outreach Services Manager, you will be responsible for scheduling and organizing a variety of client services for our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs (Meals on Wheels, Lifeline, Telephone Reassurance, etc.)
Maintain accurate records of program activities, including participant data, feedback, and performance metrics
Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining clear and timely communication regarding programs
Participate in community committees, collaborate with local organizations, and represent Community Outreach Services at public functions
All other duties assigned
Job Requirements:
Diploma in Recreation and Leisure, Health Related Field, or equivalent experience
Current First Aid/CPR Certification is an asset
Current Safe Food Handling Certification is an asset
Valid G Driver's License is required
Experience working in health care or long-term care setting is an asset
Ability to read and write in English, and understand verbal and written instructions in English
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with other colleagues
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
