Ensure that all Vinge programs meet the standards established by the following governing agencies: Ministry of Children and Family Development, Ministry of Health, Labour Relations Board, Worker's Compensation Board, Licensing and Vinge & Assoc. (HCS) Ltd. policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Diploma in related human/social services field, OR equivalent experience
Five years' recent related experience, including two-years supervisory role working with individuals with disabilities
Five years' experience working with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel
Standard First Aid + CPR-C Certification
Class 4 BC Driver's License (required within 6 months of employment)
Foodsafe Certification (required within 3 months of employment)
Availability/Use of personal vehicle for work purposes
Relevant Experience:
Managing 10 or more active staff
Leading Training and Workshops
Experience with licensing and inspections
Employee onboarding, scheduling, and evaluations
Preparing monthly budgets and managing expenditures
Development of written procedures
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide on-to-one support and build trusting relationship with individuals in care
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the program by ensuring that the necessary facilities and equipment are in place, program guidelines and policies are adhered to, and program standards and licensing requirements are met
Supervise and evaluate program staff and monitor daily operations
Liaise with the community, government, families, officials, professionals, and organization staff and promote community involvement in the program
Develop & organize personal development workshops for new and current staff
Formulate program policies and procedures
Provide employee evaluations and review employee performance in conjunction with Director of Community Living
Provide Orientations, DayForce Training & Sharevision Training
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
Schedule program staff in accordance to program staffing requirements - vacation requests, statutory holidays & program changes
Assist in recruiting, selecting & placement of staff
Evaluate programs in consultation with the Director of Community Living
Monitor, authorize and allocate expenditures within the operating budget for the year and assist senior management in preparing the budget
Develop, implement and evaluate individual goals and objectives, program policies and procedures, and ensure the required standards are maintained
Maintain related inventory records and statistics and produce reports as required
Assist in updating and maintaining employee personnel records
Initiate and complete assigned special projects from the Director of Community Living
