Restorative Justice Victoria is looking for a Program & Administrative Coordinator. Are you a highly organized and thoughtful individual with many different skills and highly competent with technology? This might be the role for you! The Program & Administrative Coordinator is responsible for program support; volunteer recruitment, training and support; marketing and communications; grant writing/reporting; and various administrative duties. This job requires superior time management and problem-solving skills, as well as an ability to work with an array of technological platforms, programs, and software. This person only needs to be highly organized, work independently and within a team well. The ideal candidate will hold a systemic analysis of power, intersectionality, and have a decolonial framework. RJV is a collaborative team environment, and we need all members to work effectively together. Please be aware that this position has a requirement of in-office hours at least 2 days a week. RJV is a mask-optional workspace.

Duties and Responsibilities



Volunteer Management

With support of the Executive Director, oversee recruitment, intake, selection and ongoing supervision and support of volunteers Coordinate advanced trainings and volunteer appreciation events Assess and address the needs of volunteers serving the organization Support the Executive Director with volunteer training Create systems to help support Volunteers
Program Administration

Conduct general office administration duties as required Manage RJV's email accounts Conduct event planning, such as the AGM, fundraisers, etc. Assist with grant seeking, writing, and reporting Support the Executive Director in liaising with referring agencies and community partners Maintain the mail distribution lists and send out regular communications to volunteers and the public Manage society membership Manage and contribute content to RJV's social media (Facebook, IG, website) Organize and maintain filing system Oversee all marketing efforts, including updating the brochure, business cards, posters, etc. Prepare and present a report at the Society's AGM Creating resource guides for clients and developing referral procedures
Additional activities and hours may be added, depending on grants and other funding sources.

Required Qualifications



1 - 3 years administrative experience and some post-secondary education, or an equivalent combination of skills and experience Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Experience working with clients in a non-profit or social services setting (volunteer or paid) Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks Demonstrated ability to deal tactfully with sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality Extensive experience with the Microsoft Office suite of programs Experience working with databases Excellent writing skills Willingness to get a Vulnerable Records Check Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Desirable Qualifications and Licenses



Experience with restorative justice Experience with offering client services Experience managing grants Experience in project coordination Knowledge and/or experience in working with government funding agencies and/or the criminal legal system Experience managing volunteers
