What\xe2\x80\x99s On Your Plate:

Help the team to improve test processes and automation in an agile environment.

Coach and mentor the cross-functional team for best test practices.

Become a trusted authority in your team for QA and Automation matters, with a strong evidence-based case for why a release is ready to ship.

Engineer solid, reliable automated tests that are considered as reliable as production code.

Ensure that the team has the right level of test coverage for the product functionality..

Participate in PR reviews for the development and QE teams.

Enthuse and advocate quality practices across teams.

Recipe for Success

Skills:

Writing and organizing test cases with Zephyr Scale, or similar tools

Writing automated tests for Website using Cypress, RestAssure and Postman for API automation

Exposure to performance testing

Exploratory testing

Challenging scope requirements

Configuring and supporting CI/CD pipelines

Comfortable with Git, Github, GitLab or similar source control solutions

Proven experience identifying and developing quality within Engineering and Product teams

Exceptional attention to detail

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Good oral and written communication skills

Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision

Quick at learning new processes, and open to growing with an ambitious curiosity to help the team

Experience:

Experience of requirements analysis and test case writing for maximum coverage

Proven experience creating and developing testing frameworks that ensure and enhance quality within a CD environment.

Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, and Cypress.

Familiarity with Microservice architecture

Familiarity with REST Web Services and HTTP

Exposure to Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc)
