Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Professional Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential, commercial, and industrial painting projects, with a strong understanding of various painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including renovation, restoration, and new construction, utilizing a wide range of tools and materials.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other equipment. Execute residential, commercial, and industrial painting projects with precision and attention to detail. Perform surface repairs including drywall patching, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, and fixture installation as needed. Conduct surface preparation for renovation or remodeling projects involving framing, carpentry, concrete finishing, masonry, or welding tasks. Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or other work locations. Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met within designated timelines.

Requirements

Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting, or industrial painting environments. Knowledge of color theory and surface finishing techniques. Proficiency with hand tools such as brushes and scrapers; power tools including airless sprayers; and specialized equipment for plastering or masonry work. Experience with renovation projects involving framing carpentry, trim carpentry, stucco application, caulking, fixture installation, restoration work, or concrete finishing is highly desirable. Skilled in using welding equipment or performing maintenance tasks related to construction sites is advantageous. Valid experience in working safely on construction sites with adherence to safety standards. Pay: $25.00 per hour
