We are seeking a reliable and skilled Construction Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for construction/renovations, repairing, and improving various aspects of our facilities and equipment. This role requires a versatile individual capable of handling a wide range of construction tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our property. Duties

Perform general renovations on buildings and apartment units Conduct routine inspections to identify issues before they escalate Repair drywall/plastering, flooring, tiling and painting as needed Assist with installation of appliances, fixtures, and furniture Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas during and after tasks Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management Coordinate with contractors or specialists for specialized repairs or projects Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes at all times

Skills

Proven experience as a maintenance person or in a similar maintenance role Strong knowledge of carpentry, interior construction, and other trades Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and implement effective solutions Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with building codes, HVAC systems, or experience with painting and flooring installations
