This role is part of our ET/UT product line.

The Product & Applications Expert acts as a key reference for both internal teams and clients by providing in-depth knowledge of products and their applications. This role involves understanding clients' technological needs and collaborating with internal teams to propose effective solutions. The Expert will be part of the team responsible for the standard product line, lead initiatives to improve and promote these products, and provide support to other departments in their activities.

As a Product & Applications Expert, you will:



Support the sales team during demonstrations, customer visits, and technical calls by presenting product capabilities and answering questions. Analyze customer needs to recommend standard products or collaborate on custom solutions with the customized applications team. Perform technical feasibility tests to ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements and performance standards. Train customers on the use of standard products through hands-on sessions and clear, tailored educational materials. Create technical content with the marketing team (blogs, webinars, workshops, etc.), ensuring accuracy and relevance of shared information. Participate in conferences and write technical articles to showcase the company's expertise and promote its products. Provide post-sales technical support, including troubleshooting and communicating with customers about encountered issues. Manage semi-custom product projects by coordinating a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality, timelines, and budget compliance. Actively support production by improving technical documentation (assembly, testing, troubleshooting procedures), answering complex questions, training teams, and ensuring effective product transfer to autonomous manufacturing. Work closely with R&D for product development and evolution by providing field feedback and conducting application tests.

What makes you an asset to our team

You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, a college diploma in science, or a related field; You have 3 or more years of relevant experience; You possess advanced English skills, both spoken and written; You have knowledge of electromagnetic inspection technologies and the NDT market (an asset); You demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to find win-win solutions in a customer service context; You have strong interpersonal skills, and you communicate and collaborate well within a team; You are capable of training staff, effectively interacting with customers, and collaborating with internal teams; You can write clear and concise technical reports; You are comfortable with tight deadlines and know how to manage your priorities; You are autonomous, thorough, and committed to delivering high-quality work; You are available for frequent national and international travel, as required by project needs.
