Position Summary



The Production Worker will be responsible for operating equipment and fabricating items for customers and branch sales. This role requires high level of responsibility, honesty, hard work, and Health and Safety attitude. The Production Worker will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism.

Key responsibilities



General Duties:



Maintain good working relationship with all co-workers and ECCO employees Read and comply with ECCO's Human Resources Policies and Procedures Read and comply with ECCO's Health & Safety Policies and Procedures Assist in the success of ECCO's Safety Program with suggestions, by setting a good example, and by ensuring that safety is at the forefront of your actions while at work Prepare and assemble product using galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum and some manufactured product and components Use a wide variety of mechanical and welding machinery to assemble finished products Sheet metal cutting, forming and bending Perform custom hand assembly Conduct regular quality checks on product
Due to the dynamic nature of this Company, the duties and responsibilities may reasonably change from time to time.

For the right candidate there may be opportunities for advancement and growth within other departments (Custom Shop Apprenticeship, Shipping/Receiving, Sales Desk)

Qualifications:



Availability for Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:00 Potential for evening and weekend overtime depending on operational requirements Able to use handheld and power tools Able to read and understand measurements Fluent in written and spoken English Manufacturing/assembly experience considered an asset Experience working with steel and aluminum considered an asset Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
