Our production team is responsible for making all our healthy snacks from beginning to end in a safe & tasty manner. That includes everything from the

preparation of our raw root vegetables, to monitoring fryers, to packaging freshly cooked chips

, and even helping with keep our production area super clean. This position also offers the opportunity to grow your skills by learning about equipment maintenance & fryer operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparation of raw materials including chopping. Completion of pre-assembly work is not limited to stock assembly lines, set up belts, cut open boxes. Application of labels, collection of materials, assembling materials into packages/product cartons. Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMPs). Ensure that the plant cleanliness is maintained throughout the day. Wrapping skids up to 7ft high. Operate pallet jack to move skids. Assemble/Disassemble equipment as required. Cleaning scales (requires bending/strenuous work). Sanitation of equipment and work area as assigned. Other tasks as assigned by Operations Manager and/or Production Supervisor.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Must be reliable and punctual. Ability to perform under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to work well in a team environment. Highly flexible and ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision. Strong work ethic with a high regard for accuracy and quality. Good verbal and written communication skills. First Aid, Forklift and/or Food Safety certifications are an asset.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

This position requires successful completion of a clear background check. Must be available to work the Afternoon Shift on a full-time basis from 4:00AM - 2:00PM Monday-Thursday. Steel Toed Safety Shoes are required, Personal Protective Equipment will be provided onsite. Starting wage is $19.21 + $1.50 shift premium per hour.
