Production Technician & Material Handler
Job Description
Triangle Fluid Controls is currently seeking a punctual, energetic individual, with a positive attitude for a permanent full-time position as our Production Technician & Material Handler at our Sarnia facility.
The ideal candidate understands the importance of Safety and Quality and will have experience using a Forklift and other material handling equipment. He/ She will have experience working with hand tools, possess a "can do" attitude and work well both independently and in a team.
The position requires you to work 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday. Some overtime and shift work will be required on short notice, including on evenings and weekends.
Key functions of the position include but are not limited to:
Understand and adhere to established plant Safety Rules
Understand and adhere to established ISO procedures
Take direction from Sarnia Branch Manager
Understand and follow standard operating procedures
Shipping & Receiving
Welding, TIG
Fabrication of Gaskets
Use of hand and power tools
Work well independently and in a team environment
Willing to work shifts and/or overtime if required
Ability to troubleshoot problems
Ability to maintain a clean workspace
Participate in projects as required
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Education:
Completion of High School Diploma or higherExperience:
2+ Years' Experience in Manufacturing EnvironmentMinimum Requirements
Forklift Experience Preferred Proficient at Fabricating Gasket Manufacturing an Asset Welding Experience Knowledge of material control and warehousing operations Ability to lift 50lbs ERP or Shop Software Experience is an Asset Time Management Skills Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills Strong Attention to Detail Basic Math Skills Computer Skills Including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Data Entry Team Player Drivers license
