Production Technician

Job Description

Our team is growing, we are looking for an entry level Production Technician to join our state of the art production and distribution facility located in Langley BC.

The Production Technician is a position that requires you to collaborate with the manufacturing and quality assurance team in order to ensure quality production of state-of-the-art electric motors, gearboxes, and actuators for robotics and automation applications. As a technician, your work will involve final assembly, subassembly, and some work on electrical and mechanical components.

What you need to know:

This is a full-time, temporary to permanent employment opportunity
Location: Langley, BC
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shift time: 8:00AM-4:30PM
Wage: $22.00-$24.00/H
This position requires previous exposure and knowledge in electromechanical assembly
You are looking for a long-term career opportunity, can meet the shift, schedule and job requirements
You are legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia and are located in the Abbotsford region

Responsibilities
- Follow health and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean workstation and production floor.
- Assemble products and parts by following production guidelines and specifications while meeting production targets.
- Finalize and package products for shipment.
- Participate in problem-solving and improvement activities.
- Operate and maintain machinery and production line equipment.
- Monitor the assembly line and remove faulty products.
- Follow company protocols and meet quality assurance standards

Qualifications
- You bring a minimum of 1-3 years experience in this field
- Proficient in schematic and blue print reading
- You are open to a flexible schedule
- Previous experience as a mechanical or electrical production assembler
- Ability to perform manual (hands-on) work that requires good dexterity and coordination skills.
- You are able to work alone as well as in a team setting.
- Good math skills.
- Are great at communicating with others in both verbal and written format
- The right candidate will have a positive attitude, up beat energy and is comfortable to be trained on new processes
