Day Shift: Monday- Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm Wages: \xc2\xb7 Starting $17.50 hour with pay advancements available for motivated individuals that achieve our levels of accountability plus additional annual increases. Exceptional Benefits Include: \xc2\xb7 Comprehensive benefits package- dental coverage, vision coverage, paramedical expense coverage, and extended health and medical \xc2\xb7 Career Growth and Continued Training + Development \xc2\xb7 Monthly employee recognition lunches, yearly family event, and holiday lunches \xc2\xb7 Employee referral bonus program Job Duties and Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Ability to work on steady paced production line conducting various tasks such as; de-boning and or trimming pork cuts to customer\xe2\x80\x99s specifications; \xc2\xb7 Ensure proper care of knives and other tools provided; \xc2\xb7 Manually packaging pork cuts into various formats (bags, cartons, combos, or other containers); \xc2\xb7 Loading product into packaging machinery; \xc2\xb7 Inspect packaged products to ensure they meet final packaging requirements; \xc2\xb7 Weighing product on scales and applying labels to cartons; \xc2\xb7 Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in your area and following good manufacturing practices, quality and safety procedures; \xc2\xb7 Strives to meet Production yields/efficiencies standards; \xc2\xb7 Promotes an open two-way communication and takes accountability of own work, with the goal of enabling a high performance team; \xc2\xb7 Follows Canadian Blasts Freezers policies and procedures, health and safety policies and HACCP standards; \xc2\xb7 Promotes a respectful workplace, one that is healthy, safe, supportive and values diversity; \xc2\xb7 Take Line/Unit Leader feedback on issues and opportunities to improve production process.
