What will your day-to-day look like?

• Foster an Active Caring culture focused on safety and well-being.
• Promote and support all EH&S, CORE, Ethics, and Training programs; ensure compliance with corporate and legal standards.
• Drive quality initiatives and continuous improvement to meet or exceed customer expectations and production targets.
• Provide visible, supportive leadership on the shop floor--solve problems, remove barriers, and ensure daily commitments are achieved.
• Communicate clear goals, expectations, and feedback to employees.
• Lead and participate in investigations and root cause analysis for safety or quality concerns.
• Collaborate across departments to meet shared objectives, including Plant 41 key performance targets.
• Recognize high performance and coach underperformance through consistent, constructive feedback.
• Champion change and lead by example in times of transition or uncertainty.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to effectively use CORE tools to determine and implement a solution.
• Lead, coach, schedule, and develop production staff to ensure high engagement, flexibility, and capability.

What do you need to be successful?

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. A combination of relevant education and equivalent work experience may also be considered.
• Diploma or journey person red seal in a Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Engineering-related field is an asset.
• 5+ years of proven leadership and supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change, influence others, and lead through transformation.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP, ENOVIA, and related systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Track record of personal development and professional achievement.
• Recognized for reliability, initiative, and consistent performance.
• Additional training in leadership and change management considered a strong asset.
