Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Lead to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our food processing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure production efficiency, maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation, and lead a team to meet quality and safety standards. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate various aspects of food manufacturing and packaging processes.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the manufacturing floor, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Oversee packaging operations, ensuring products are correctly packaged according to specifications. Operate and troubleshoot equipment such as forklifts, ensuring safe handling of materials and products. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to uphold product integrity. Monitor production schedules, adjust workflows as needed, and communicate effectively with team members to meet production goals. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and work areas, performing basic mechanical troubleshooting when necessary. Ensure all team members follow food industry regulations, sanitation protocols, and safety guidelines. Assist in training new employees on equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality standards.

Skills

Proven experience in manufacturing or food processing environments, with knowledge of packaging processes. Basic math skills for measurements, inventory counts, and quality checks. Familiarity with food industry regulations and quality assurance procedures. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and manage workflow effectively. Excellent communication skills for clear instructions and reporting issues promptly. Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
