Permacon, a CRH Company, is a leader and pioneer in the manufacturing of concrete masonry and landscaping products. Permacon is a division of Oldcastle APG and operates 9 plants in Ontario and Quebec.
We are currently looking for a Nightshift Production Supervisor at our Woodstock plant. The selected candidate must be available to work Sunday to Wednesday, 6:00 pm to 4:00 am. In addition, the candidate must be available to work on dayshift for few months before starting as the nightshift supervisor.
Reporting to the Plant manager, the Production Supervisor will be mainly responsible for excellence in Health & Safety, Productivity, Quality, Maintenance and Housekeeping in his area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Supervise the hourly employees
• Participate in Health and Safety activities
• Lead daily and weekly meetings
• Manage work schedules and hours
• Prepare production reports
• Help with inventories
• Purchase material for production
• Meet suppliers
• Ensure discipline in the plant
• Provide training and participate to customer service

• 
  College Diploma in a relevant technical field
• Minimum of 2 years of supervision experience in a manufacturing environment
• Be available to work on different schedules
• Leadership skills
• Initiative and sense of urgency
• Precision and details oriented
• Microsoft Office knowledge
