Position Overview




We are seeking a

Production Floor Supervisor

to oversee and optimize daily operations in our manufacturing facility. This individual will play a key role in

increasing production capacity, improving efficiency, and ensuring workforce productivity

. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hands-on manufacturing experience, excellent organizational skills, and a results-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities




Supervise day-to-day production floor operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.


Monitor and coach production staff to maintain high levels of productivity and minimize downtime.

Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), production schedules, and quality standards.

Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including output, efficiency, and waste reduction.

Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for capacity expansion and process improvements.

Ensure proper training, safety compliance, and adherence to company policies across all shifts.

Conduct regular floor inspections to ensure proper use of machinery, tools, and materials.

Address performance or attendance issues promptly and professionally.

Support company growth initiatives by optimizing workflow and labor allocation.
Work closely with supply chain and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations and minimal disruptions.

Qualifications




3-5 years of supervisory or lead hand experience in manufacturing (preferably HVAC, filtration, or related industries).


Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to motivate, train, and manage production staff.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, process improvement, and capacity planning.

Experience with production reporting, scheduling, and meeting targets.

Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality assurance.
Computer skills (MRP/ERP systems experience is an asset).
