Position Overview:



We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Production Supervisor

to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient operation of our production floor while driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on following and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), supervising critical control points (CCP), machine operators, and maintaining high standards of product quality, storage organization, and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:



Oversee Daily Production:


Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the production team, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining high-quality standards.

SOP Compliance & Enforcement:


Ensure all team members strictly adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for safety, quality, and efficiency. Monitor compliance and implement corrective actions as needed.

Supervise CCP & Machine Operators:


Oversee the performance of Critical Control Point (CCP) operators, machine operators, line leads, and assemblers, ensuring proper execution of food safety protocols and equipment operation. Conduct regular checks to verify compliance with safety and quality standards.

Continuous Improvement:


Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with management to implement strategies that increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

Storage Organization & Cleanliness:


Maintain organized storage areas, ensuring proper labeling, rotation, and handling of raw materials and finished products. Uphold high standards of cleanliness across the production floor, adhering to food safety regulations.

Product Quality Assurance:


Monitor and enforce product quality standards throughout the production process. Perform regular quality checks and collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to resolve any product issues.

Team Leadership & Development:


Train, mentor, and develop production staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

Safety & Compliance:


Promote a culture of safety by enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and addressing any potential hazards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP).

Inventory & Resource Management:


Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure adequate supplies are available for production.

Production Reporting:


Maintain accurate production records, including downtime, waste, and output. Provide regular reports to management on production performance, challenges, and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:



Experience:


Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a food manufacturing or production environment.

Education:


Diploma or degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.

Skills & Knowledge:



Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong leadership and team-building skills

Excellent understanding of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP)

Proven track record of driving process improvements

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Proficiency in using production management software and tools

Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments

Strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
