We are currently looking for a Production Supervisor to assist our growing team! The Production Supervisor will provide leadership across his/her department(s) on the Company's day shift. The Production Supervisor will report to the Company's Plant Manager and will oversee Production in his/her area.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and decision-making skills. He/she will be motivational, innovative and entrepreneurial, with a strong understanding of people management and operational target setting.
Production Supervisor Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day operations of the a portion of the production floor, which could include panel processing, sanding, finishing, and assembly
Lead, train, and support team members to achieve production targets
Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
Collaborate with design, engineering, and project management teams to meet client specifications
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with OHSA and company standards
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Troubleshoot production issues and resolve workflow bottlenecks
Accurately complete daily reporting requirements in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
2 years supervisory experience
Experience in a woodworking or millwork business would be preferred
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift 50lbs and work on your feet for extended periods of time
