Position Summary

The Production Planning Coordinator will support repair and overhaul operations by coordinating, scheduling, and prioritizing work orders to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery. This role requires close collaboration with production, repair, quality, and supply chain teams to maintain alignment with operational goals and customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, update, and maintain daily and weekly production schedules for repair and overhaul work. Review, validate, and prioritize work orders to align with capacity, resources, and customer delivery requirements. Coordinate with production supervisors, technicians, and purchasing to ensure material availability and minimize delays. Monitor work order progress, identify bottlenecks, and proactively recommend adjustments. Track turnaround times and support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency. Maintain accurate records in the ERP system and generate status reports for management. Support compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements. Act as liaison between planning, production, and sale team regarding job status and delivery commitments. Responsible for production boards, assign work to technician, production control. Ensure RO, PO's are up to date with vendors lead times provided. Serve as a central point of contact to support, facilitating communication between different departments, such as sales, purchasing, and production Reviews and manages all shop overtime duties as required. Reports low stock items for Inventory management

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Production Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or coordination. Manufacturing, or MRO environments preferred. Strong understanding of repair and overhaul processes preferred. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
