PRODUCTION OPERATOR

The Position:

We currently require a Mill Production Operator for a full-time position.

Shift's are 6am-4pm and 7am-5pm (weekly rotations)

Starting date is as soon as possible.

This position requires working in our premix manufacturing plant. This is a physically demanding position with repetitive tasks and heavy lifting. Attention to detail is a must.

All required training will be provided by SMI. The applicant must have their own steel toed safety boots.

The starting wage is $22/hour. Benefits and raises begin after 3 months. Work uniforms and boot allowance are also provided after 3 months. Company matchable RRSP program after 1 year.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Follow all required safety policies and procedures

Effectively communicate with other employees and management

Perform manual stacking of up to 30kg bags

Adding ingredients as instructed into a mixer

Changeovers of different equipment based on packaging

Operating a forklift

Weighing of both bulk and bagged ingredients

Cleaning of the premix plant

Other duties as required
