As a key member of the production team, the Production Operator will be responsible for the safe and sanitary operation of plant equipment to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company.

Job Duties:
Operate processing equipment and meet production goals with the ability to fine-tune and troubleshoot for optimization of production.
Organize shift activities and physically perform production, sanitation, and reporting activities.
Ensure safe, effective and efficient operation of production equipment through following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Safe Quality Food Practices (SQF's).
Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting production specifications and quality standards.
Submit complete written reports for production and other administrative documents as required.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Nutri-Pea operations with recommendations.

Qualifications:
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a clear criminal records check.
Previous experience in the manufacturing sector is considered an asset.
Participate in all required Health and Safety, GMP and SQF training.
Must be able to repeatedly lift over 25kgs.
Must have the ability to stand for long periods.
Basic math skills and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, day and night shifts, alternating weekends.
Repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, attention to detail
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and communicate with team members.
