MAAAX Ontario Equine is currently expanding our operations at our Durham facility. The responsibilities of the Plant Operator include but are not limited to the following:
  • Operation of the cubing system, associated equipment, equipment maintenance and associated record keeping in a manufacturing environment.
\xe2\x80\xa2Monitor and maintain quality control procedures during production. \xe2\x80\xa2Forklift operation. Operation of heavy equipment including front end loaders, telehandlers etc\xe2\x80\xa6 \xe2\x80\xa2Operating plant using automated computer control. \xe2\x80\xa2Troubleshoot mechanical problems. Coordinate with supervisor to initiate repairs. \xe2\x80\xa2Communicate with other team members to maintain a consistent rate of production. \xe2\x80\xa2Maintain a clean work area. \xe2\x80\xa2This is a flexible work environment. You must demonstrate the ability to learn and perform all production related positions. ie; bagging, shipping, cubing, bale grinding and drier operation. Required abilities:
  • Well organized and efficient.
\xe2\x80\xa2Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Motivated, goal oriented and easy to adapt to changes.
  • Flexible regarding working longer hours, meeting tight deadlines.
  • Work with little supervision independently as well as with others in a team.
  • Confidential treatment of business information; loyal and honest.
  • Some travel may be occasionally required.
  • Agricultural equipment operation a large asset.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: From $18.00 per hour Benefits:

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Durham, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
  • Machine Operator: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: One location Expected start date: 2023-04-03
